Ode to the Sun (2022)

'Ode to the Sun' was written as part of the 'Composing Monumentality' research project, a collaboration with the Composers Society of Singapore to pay homage to pioneer composers. It is inspired by the music of Kam Kee Yong, particularly 'Kuang Xiang Qu' for solo violin and orchestra, and is a musical response to Kam's painting 'Ode to the Sun'.
